Roussou

Jean-Jacques Rousseau grew up in a little town called Geneva, France. All his life he was a man of self education and curiosity beyond control. Rousseau personally overcame such obstacles as poverty, and loneliness. He may have been a man of few words; however the quality of the words surpassed the comprehension of most average men, or woman.

Rousseau's childhood was anything but normal, as a kid he was not allowed to play, and he was brought up in the end by his Uncle. At first he was brought up by his father and aunt, his Father is who taught him to read, and how to appreciate the surrounding countryside. Rousseau began his travels at the ripe age of sixteen, he quickly became the secretary and companion to Madame Louise de Warens, this was an unusual relationship and not exactly what I call healthy. He ended up being more then just friends with this woman, although she was old eno


Now although Rousseau was a man of little education and love, these are both things that he cherished with his life. He was no doubt defied many times by his lovers or his friends, and in the end, all he is, is a lonely old man who thinks that nobody should ever stop learning, and it is never to early to start. He was a man off great accomplishments and accord. Through a hard life this one man shows his strengths and perseverance, which should be admired no matter what.

Throughout his lifetime he produced many such accomplishments as Emile, and the Social Contract, these are a few of the remarkable works that he was responsible for. He starts out in the later with an astonishing quote, "Man was born free, and he is everywhere in chains,"(Social Contract 1762) this is one of his common theories, that humans are corrupted by society and their surroundings.
