Jean-Jacques Rousseau grew up in a little town called Geneva, France. All his life he was a man of self education and curiosity beyond control. Rousseau personally overcame such obstacles as poverty, and loneliness. He may have been a man of few words; however the quality of the words surpassed the comprehension of most average men, or woman.

Rousseau's childhood was anything but normal, as a kid he was not allowed to play, and he was brought up in the end by his Uncle. At first he was brought up by his father and aunt, his Father is who taught him to read, and how to appreciate the surrounding countryside.
