Through out my life, I have learned from others and I have grown, certain people have influenced me in the choices I have made; the biggest influence on me is Gods calling for my education at Olivet. While I'm pursuing my further education at Olivet Nazarene University, I am going to major in Child Psychology. I love to work with children and I feel a strong sense that God is calling me to your school. These reason are what makes me positive that Olivet is right for me. Child Psychology interests me because I love to work with children and help out people with their problems. I love being there for my friends and others when they need me. I could not decide whether or not to do psychology or become an elementary teacher. I prayed hard to the Lord and followed my heart to majoring in child psychology. I believe that working with troubled kids who have been abused, molested, or even dealing with parents separating will help me both spiritually and mentally. I feel that Olivet will change me for the better and challenge me more everyday and I hope that I will be able to influence Olivet as well. I do not want to miss out on what Olivet has to offer me and what God has in store for me. I am ready to hear His call and have Him use me in anyway he feels necessary. While I attend Olivet, I plan to continue ministering to others outside the community and becoming a volunteer with YFC. I will take action in "Party with Jesus", "Access", the choirs/drama, and anything else the Lord calls me to do. By going to Olivet it is an experience of a lifetime; being surrounded by fellow Christians and doing Gods work is defteinly something I do not want to miss out on. I know that I am right for Olivet and that my leadership qualities will grow deeper with my future experiences there.
