The people of the Northwest Coast

The moderate temperatures on the Pacific coast of British Columbia, where

different cultural groups lived including, the Haida, Tsimshian, Tlingit, Nishga, Gitksan,

Nishga, Nvxalk, Heiltsuk, Kwakiutl, Nuu-Chah-Nulth and the Coast Salish. Each group

had their own unique lifestyles, and spiritual beliefs which where going to discuss today.

This was depended on their surroundings of an area which judged the lifestyle of the

native peoples living in that region.

Firstly, the Northwest Coast people's lifestyle was decided by their surroundings.

Five significant components consisted of food, clothing, tools, housing and
