Oppressive Government vs. no government
A detailed Summary of Oppressive Government vs. no government
It is because I agree with the words of Robert Nozick, "In union there is strength," that I stand in front of you today negating the resolution that an oppressive government is more desirable than no government. In order to set the perimeters for this debate, I offer the following definitions:
* Oppressive- oppressing; difficult to endure; tyrannical
* Government- the group or organization governing a country
To further this affirmation, I will give you the value of freedom
because in an anarchy, you have the freedom and right to do as you wish.
Contention 1: A strong civil society can be gained without a government.
