My Mom, My Role Model

Role Models are a part of everyone's life. They help us get through life's ups and downs and teach us to become successful people as we grow. Someone that does just that is my mother. My mother is a very important woman in my life.. She is very helpful and trustworthy to me.

When I found out I was pregnant there was only one person who stood by my side. She never got mad at the situation of me being only 14 years old and about to have a child. She was always there no matter what was going down. After I had my child I was home schooled and learned how to take care of my responsibilities.

My mom was also there for me when I got kicked out of school for cursing out a teacher. I wanted to quit school, because I thought that I was behind in my classes. My mom told me that I should not quit school. I took her upon her advice of staying in school and I graduated with tears falling from my eyes. I thought I would never see the day that the diploma was placed in my hand. From that day forward, I have always trusted my thoughts and myself. I believe I can achieve anything if I set my mind to it.

I have changed my life and learned from my mom to achieve any goals I'm interested in. I'm trying hard now to finish college and take care of my son, so that we can live a better life than we're living now.
