Anne Frank The Diary of a Young Girl is an epic of the suffering of the Jewish people during the Holocaust Era (1942-44) in Amsterdam, Holland, but in particular, the trials suffered by the author, a young girl named Anne Frank, her family, and the Van Daan family. This story gives a viewing window of what it is like to live under a false identity, hiding one's heritage in return of freedom of religion and a chance to live.

In the two years Anne Frank was forced to remain in hiding by the Nazi's persecution of the Jews of Europe, she recorded her feelings from 1942 to 1944 in a diary given to her as a birthday gift from her father. This book is written in an expressive narration form. Throughout the book Anne Frank expressed and recorded her feelings, her emotions, and her thoughts, as well as events that happened to her during the two years of hiding by the Nazi persecution of the Jews of Europe. The diary is an amusing and enlightening account of her feelings and thoughts about herself and the people around her, the world at large and especially what is happening at the time.
