The Nature Of Professional Bodies, Trade Unions and special Interest Groups In the United Kingdom and Ireland there are many professional bodies, trade unions and special interest groups around each specific and unique in its own way. In general professional bodies take care of maintaining a high standard of professional qualification and practice, Trade unions represent individual members protecting their rights at work. Special interest groups promote issues within its boundaries.
