The Importance of Honesty

Honesty is the telling of the truth. It is being there when you say you will be there. It is putting up with the bullshit, without questions, even when you believe it is wrong. The only thing you have in this life is your word, and without that, you have nothing. Everyday my honesty is questioned, without merit, without an explanation. This is because there is no honesty , or any brotherhood in the world today. Even when you are honest, no one believes in you anyway, because we as a society are taught to fend for yourself, even if that means screwing the other guy. .

I have been many places in the world, but nowhere else is there so little honesty. You can"t even lose your wallet, without knowing that it is highly unlikely that it will be returned, in tact by a honest person. It is just hilarious when you look at it. Everybody"s definition is different. This is why so many people in the world are fucked up. No one wants to believe in anyone else, unless they have something to gain. Whether it is glory, or some kind of prize, everyone is in it for himself or herself. If there isn"t anything in it for them, then they don"t want to believe in it.

I guess this totally changes the definition of the word, doesn"t it? Know the word definition is to make the majority feel warm and fuzzy, give them piece of mind, no matter what the real story is. There are only a few that care to hear the real story, anyway.

The fact that you say that you will never believe me again, or that you won"t stick up for me is a question in itself. The question is would you honestly anyway, before this incident? You say that you did, but how can I know.
