A Child Abuse Therapy

            Child abuse is cowardice and there is no excuse to harm a child. It is the societal obligation to ensure all children to exercise their right to prevail in a secured environment away from abuse and neglect. The safety of children is the chief concern that must direct child safeguard measures. Children require a family and a permanent place to regard as their home. Children also require nurturing circumstances in that they foster and fulfill their physical, emotional, educational and social requirements. In consonance with the federal law, any current behavior or failure to respond on the part of a parent or caretaker, that gives rise to the death or serious physical or emotional harm, sexual abuse or exploitation or an act or failure to act that represents imminent vulnerability towards serious harm.              The physical abuse varies from minor mark to serious fractures normally arising out of "punching, beating, kicking, biting, shaking, throwing, stabbing, choking, hitting, burning or otherwise harming a child". (Stop Child Abuse) Notwithstanding the fact of intentional or unintentional act of the perpetrator such injury are regarded as physical abuse. The sexual abuse normally includes the activities of the parents or caretaker like "fondling a child's genitals, penetration, incest, rape sodomy, indecent exposure, and exploitation through prostitution or through production of pornographic materials". (Stop Child Abuse) The emotional abuse is a type of activity that hurts the emotional development or sense of self-being. This may incorporate persistent criticism, threats, or rejection along with discontinuance of love, care or guidance. The emotional abuse is evident in case of all other types of child abuses. The child abuse irrespective of its form has a profound impact on health and physique, on cognitive development and achievement of academic merit, emotional, psychosocial, and behavioral progress.
