Who says miracle doesn't happen in these modern times. In my experience, I can very well attest that miracles do exist. It happened three years ago with my grandmother. She got very sick and was hospitalized for almost six months. Everybody in our family thought she will not make it because of her condition. She is more or less in comatose judging from her bodily condition. One thing she wishes though was to see our uncle who has been stationed in Korea for a mere eight years. He was the youngest of six siblings including my father. Everyday, my grandmother would hold and look at my uncle's photograph trying hardly to speak of his name, but nothing seems to come out from her throat. My father tried all his best to reach my uncle through their station commander in Korea but failed to do so. One day, my father got a reply from Korea that my uncle has recently been transferred to London, but never got the message regarding my grandmother. That very day, he was on board a plane to UK, the doctor already informed our family that my grandmother has 24 hours left to live. It was already impossible for my uncle now to see my grandmother for the last time even if we are able to inform him that moment. All we could do then was pray. But a miracle did happen. As their plane was passing by the Pacific Ocean, a storm unexpectedly formed in the North Pacific, forcing my uncle's plane to make an emergency landing in the United States. After landing at the airport, my uncle thought of calling my father just to inform that he is in the country. While we were praying at the hospital's chapel, my father's mobile phone rang and it was my uncle on the line. My father informed him of the news, and my uncle rushed his way to the hospital. It was about an hour before that 24 hours deadline given by the doctor that my uncle arrived at the hospital. As he entered my grandmother's room, we were surprised to hear from the outside of my grandmother shouting my uncle's name in joy.
