My techniques of becoming a successful language learner.
It"s a universally acknowledged fact, that learning a language is not an easy job. This is not only true for learning a new language. Even though I had lived in Hong Kong for nineteen years, I still don"t dare to tell anyone that I can really master my native language. It seems that thirteen years of formal education in Chinese language doesn"t really help, as I can still frequently find grammatical mistakes in my Chinese writings, and words that are totally unknown to me while reading Chinese novels. She patiently repeated once more, and I pause for a moment, and asked, "Oh you mean whether I"m going to eat here or take away?" From this event, I learnt the meaning of 'to go", as I had never heard of it in my country. Even though I"m not speaking English myself, I still have many opportunities to learn. One time while I was waiting at the bus stop, a girl rushed to the stop and asked the guy sitting next to me, "Have bus 23 come yet?" "No," the guy answered and smiled, "you are lucky.
