His song "Suicide Solutions", found on the Blizzard of Ozz album, has been seen as a subliminal message that suicide is the only way out of life. There had been three male suicides that were linked to Ozzy"s song, in all three of these incidents, the album Blizzard of Ozz was found playing on the radios of the boys. The lyrics sung by Ozzy, "Wine is fine, but whiskey"s quicker. Suicide is slow with liquor. Take a bottle, drown your sorrows, Then it floods away tomorrows" are where teens are able to find suicide messages (Quoted in Billard). Another case where music played an influence on a teen"s suicide is of Greg Barnes, 17. His father who had walked into the garage, found the terrible site of his son who had committed suicide by hanging himself. Blink 182"s song, Adam"s Song, was heard playing on repeat on the stereo (Hebert). .

"I"d never thought I"d die alone.

Another six months I"ll be unknown.

Give all my things to all my friends.

You"ll never set foot in my room again.

You"ll close it off, board it up.

Remember the time that I spilled the cup.

Of apple juice in the hall.

Please tell mom this is not her fault." (Blink 182, "Adam"s Song").

These are some of the lyrics that are found in Blink 182"s song that could have sent the message to Greg that suicide is the way out of life.
